The Little Rug is a spin off from our annual Red Carpet Bash and is the ultimate pre-Christmas fundraising event to celebrate the work of Kids First and to raise much needed funds to ensure that the charity can continue its important work.
In the past six years, the Red Carpet Bash and it's generous supporters has bought in over £1 million which has benefitted thousands of children in the UK. Please support our new event and make it as successful as its predecessor.
The Event Details
Throughout it's ten year history, Kids First has always produced top class fundraising events and to celebrate its first fully independant year, The Little Rug will be no exception.
Expect top quality food, outstanding entertainment and unique silent auction, all at a top class London venue.
This is a fundraising event for Kids First Trust (Registered Charity No. 1073947). There will be a fantastic raffle and silent auction of Sport and Film memorabila on the night. Please give generously!
Dress code: Your best partywear (no Jeans please).
Why Should I Support this event?
In November 1999, Kids First was established as an independant charity by Woolworths plc. In November 2008 Kids First lost its corporate founding partner when Woolworths went into administration.
The charity has survived the last 10 months by relying on the support of its many supporters, particularly ex-Woolworths colleagues and by gaining new contacts along its road to full independance.
The economic downturn in the past year has hindered our corporate fundraising but by continuing with our events programme and through sheer determination we are still here and donating money to thousands of children through our Playground Partnerships scheme.
We also ran a Gigs First event where the proceeds benefited young people enabling us to provide them with new opportunities to enhance their creative development.
Your support at this event will contribute to the running of Playground Partnerships 2010/11 and the continuing work of the Gigs First programme.

Venue
The Little Rug will be held at The Brewery on Friday 27th November 2009.
The Brewery is set within its own private courtyard within the vibrancy of the city and traces its heritage back 250 years. It is a Grade II listed building and holder of a City Heritage Award.
