Play and Education

Play is a vital part of development. We understand the importance of learning through play as an essential development opportunity for our children. Research shows that developing core skills and competencies at primary school age will enable children to become better citizens.

Partnership

We work in partnership because this is more than just a job, it's a passion. We treat each other with respect and dignity, recognising the value in cooperation. We enjoy collaborating with other people because together we bring the vision to reality.

Our Values

Our values are closely aligned to the Every Child Matters agenda because we are passionate about the growth and development of children.

The main focus of our work is to continue changing children's lives through play; something that our award winning scheme Playground Partnerships fulfils. We are also conducting important research into the effects of play on child development, which will inform our Playground Partnership scheme going forward. We believe it is important to understand exactly how our children are impacted by play and will be publishing our report in 2010.

The way our children grow up today forms the basis for their thoughts, achievements and success in the future. You can help us make that a positive experience.
